Honoring the Legacy of Joe Kyriakakis

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of our colleague and friend, Joe Kyriakakis, whose nearly two decades at Apex left a lasting impact on our company, our products, and the customers we serve around the world.

Celebrating a Remarkable Career 

Joe joined Apex Microtechnology in 2007 and dedicated almost two decades to supporting our customer’s needs, advancing our technology, and strengthening our engineering community. During his time with Apex, he served in several key roles, including Field Applications Engineer, Technical Writer, and Design Engineer. Whether providing technical support to customers, crafting technical articles, or coming up with new innovative solutions, Joe rose to the challenge with the same level of technical expertise, professionalism and genuine desire to help those around him succeed.

Customers and colleagues alike relied on Joe's extensive knowledge of analog design and his practical approach to solving complex challenges. He had a gift for explaining difficult concepts in a clear and detailed way, making him a trusted resource for both customers and team members.

Joe's contributions extended far beyond day-to-day technical support. He authored numerous application notes, technical articles, and white papers to support a better understanding of analog design and its use in practical applications. He also played a key role in developing systemic tools simplifying product evaluation and its implementation. His most recent contribution, an evaluation kit released just weeks ago, serves as another example of the dedication and craftsmanship he brought to every project.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joe will be remembered for the person he was. He was generous with his time, patient in sharing his knowledge, and always willing to lend a hand. His mentorship helped team members grow throughout their careers, while his kindness and humility made him a respected and valued teammate. He built lasting relationships with customers who came to know him not only for his technical expertise, but for his sincerity and genuine desire to provide support.

Joe's legacy lives on through the products he helped develop, the technical resources he created, and the people he supported throughout his career. We are grateful for his years of dedication and the example he set for everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by the Apex Microtechnology team, and his contributions will continue to support engineers and the broader analog community for years to come.
